Provides a shared library service that allows USGS Library to locate, borrow, lend & manage records for research materials held by other libraries & federal agencies. Service connects Library to a large network of institutions to share books, journals, reports, maps & other specialized materials. Supports accurate Library records & helps USGS employees identify materials that are available locally or through partner libraries. Service also supports collection management by helping the Library identify duplicate holdings & make informed decisions about retaining, moving or removing materials.
