*UI/UX & Human Factors - Reg Systems, Review Tools, & Performance Analytics

This proposal requests contractor funding to engage a UI/UX or human factors specialist to systematically assess and improve the usability and information consumability of the ORP's regulatory systems, review tools/templates, and performance analytics products (including published MDUFA reports). Current tools support critical regulatory review and oversight functions, but inconsistent design, navigation, and information presentation create friction that reduces staff efficiency and increases the risk of misinterpretation. Current MDUFA reports are presented as static PDFs with suboptimal information presentation which makes the information less consumable. The contractor will conduct user research, apply human factors principles, and deliver redesigned interfaces, templates, and data visualizations that enable staff and the public to more accurately and efficiently extract actionable insights. Expected outcomes include measurable improvements in report comprehension, reduction in user errors, and increased staff satisfaction with digital work products.
