Description
The Cherokee National Forest will be requesting the treatment for Non-Native Invasive Species in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Winds and flooding exacerbated spread of invasives to new heights and new areas previously unaffected. Blowdown from the storms also accelerated growth. Methods of treatment to include foliar spray tack and squirt and cut stump treatments.
