Solvent Storage Building Envelope Steam Tunnel Repairs

This project will implement building envelope repairs at the Main Laboratory and Solvents Storage Building and replace two failing steam tunnel expansion joints at the Eastern Regional Research Center. The work is based on deficiencies identified in the AE site investigation dated 02/11/2025 and includes correcting water intrusion issues replacing damaged exterior components and restoring proper operation of the steam tunnel system. Construction is necessary to prevent further facility deterioration ensure safe operations and maintain continuity of research activities.
