GETT Whitetailed Deer Management Interagency Agreement: USDAWildlife Services and GETT/EISE 20272031

The objectives of this project are (1) to reduce the density of white-tailed deer within GETT and EISE to the initial deer density goal of 25 deer per square forested mile, and (2) to maintain the deer density at 25 deer per square mile. The NPS is using an adaptive management strategy to better manage the deer population and should NPS monitoring indicate that the timing or intensity of management treatments need to be altered to better meet the goals of the plan, the deer density targets
