Stand Exam TO FY 27

The Medford District will use a FY27 task order under the Western Oregon Stand Exam contract to survey about 19,500 acres of forest. These surveys provide data on tree density, species, growth, and timber volume needed to plan forest treatments, complete environmental analysis, and prepare timber sales. The work supports Executive Order 14225 by improving forest management and helping the district meet long-term timber production goals for the OBBB and Administration Priorities to increase timber harvest/volume.
