U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Vickery Gate Control Point (VGCP) security upgrades, including installation of 4 shallow mounted vehicle active wedge design barriers on Steamboat Road and Madison Place, installation of vehicle passive barriers (bollards and post-wire) as lane separators and along the perimeter of Steamboat Road from the Block Houses to the active barriers to encapsulate the VGCP, pedestrian access control measures in the two Block Houses and installation of a barrier arm gate for vehicles entering the Academy in conjunction with the ID card scanner for employees.
