Description
The organization plans to digitize several key processes to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility. These initiatives include the printing of credential certificates, scheduled for December of 2025; the Honor Board Program set to begin in January of the upcoming calendar year; and the digitization of paper records maintained by the Commandant's Office, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of FY26. Additionally, the Student Information System (SIS) will be integrated with Blackboard in FY26, Q3, followed by integration with Campus Labs and other assessment tools in FY26, Q4, to streamline data sharing and reporting across platforms. The onboarding and offboarding procedures for employees and midshipmen will be digitized in FY26, Q2, along with the software request process, space request process, and IT equipment request process, all scheduled for the first quarter of FY26 to expedite and standardize these administrative tasks. The Sea Year matching algorithm will be developed and implemented by FY26, Q3, to optimize placement procedures. Furthermore, a communication and marketing platform for admissions will be launched in FY26, Q2, to improve recruitment outreach. Finally, the digitization of medical records is planned for December of 2025, aiming to enhance data security, streamline access, and support better health services. These efforts collectively aim to modernize operations, reduce paperwork, and facilitate quicker, more reliable information flow across various departments.
