nuMoM2b Heart Health Study 3

nuMoM2b Heart Health Study (nuMoM2b HHS) is a multi-center longitudinal cohort study that enrolled pregnant women during their first pregnancies from 2010-2013. The goals of the study and follow-up has been to characterize adverse pregnancy outcomes and their impact on cardiovascular disease. The objective of the renewal of the nuMoM2b Heart Health Study (HHS) is to follow this richly phenotyped cohort of women, from their first pregnancy, with data and biospecimens prospectively collected, to better understand the relationship between adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs; specifically stillbirth, small-for-gestational-age birth, preterm birth, hypertensive disease of pregnancy, and gestational diabetes) and cardiovascular disease. Continued follow-up will now permit the study to obtain information as the women enter perimenopause and menopause, an important timepoint in the lifespan to learn about the impact of hormonal changes and pregnancy outcomes on cardiovascular health. This research and development requirement is to compete for one IDIQ contract and resulting task orders for the nuMoM2b Coordinating Center with subcontracts to accomplish all necessary work, including storage and maintenance of both existing biological samples and data, to include those that may be collected during the next project period.
