CFO Temporary Lodging Services

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Carlsbad Field Office (CFO) is currently housing six (6) interns that are a critical part to the duties and responsibilities of the CFO. These interns are responsible for oversight, monitoring, and reporting of its activities to assure compliance with applicable federal requirements, and to ensure federal laws are being adhered too. These interns are responsible for carrying out developmental assignments of natural and ecological resources monitoring for one or more resource programs (e.g., vegetation, soil, water, habitat). They also provide assistance to higher-graded employees on natural resources analysis and reporting objectives. The work performed by these interns plays a pivotal role in the oil and gas industry and by allowing BLM employees to focus on other areas of the industry.
