Description
This project will rehabilitate multiple park trails and associated parking spaces. These trails are used for recreation as well as interpreting the historic sites associated with General Washington’s 1779–1780 encampment. Rehabilitating these trails will enhance both visitor experiences and natural conservation. This trail also allows most of the park’s 250,000 annual visitors to experience the park’s cultural landscape and history of the site. Well-maintained trails help protect the ecosystem.
