Description
A near infrared (NIR) spectrometer is used to measure NIR spectra of presented samples, which can then be analyzed to ascertain sample properties. This particular NIR spectrometer will be incorporated into a continuous tablet manufacturing line to monitor powder blend properties prior to the tablet compression stage, but the NIR spectrometer can be employed in other applications as needed. The associated NIR measurement probe will be designed for measuring flowing powder material in-line.
