Kenneth Maclean air sampling flights

This 5 year PR is for research quality, calibrated measurements of atmospheric trace gases (e.g. CO2, CH4, CO, H2, N2O, SF6), and associated meteorological measurements (pressure, temperature, humidity), from several different altitudes up to approximately 25,000 ft, or as appropriate for the aircraft service ceiling. For the Global Greenhouse Gas Reference Network (GGGRN) atmospheric sampling site located approximately 10 miles offshore, southeast of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. These aircraft services are needed to measure trace gas species to improve our understanding of emissions location, source strength, and seasonality in support of air quality and climate science studies in support of the NOAA mission.
