Description
This project will restore safe pedestrian circulation and utilities at Carl Sandburg Home NHS after the Front Lake dam failure during Hurricane Helene. The collapse destroyed a pedestrian bridge and sewer line, cutting access between parking, restrooms, and the historic core. Work includes designing and building a new elevated crossing, repairing the sewer line, and completing compliance and coordination with future dam restoration.
