Description
Two footbridges destroyed by the Helene will be permanently replaced with a single elevated pedestrian bridge, approximately 110 feet in length. The new structure will span the entire impacted area where Hurricane Helene’s flooding eroded the small central island that previously supported the two independent bridges. The permanent bridge will be designed and constructed through contract.
