Description
CLPS was established in 2018 as an innovative, service-based, competitive acquisition approach using commercial procurement strategies under an Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded to 14 vendors. Task orders are firm fixed price for the full scope of delivery. The CLPS vendor is responsible for subcontracting the Launch Vehicle and obtaining all the necessary FAA and other agency approvals/licenses. Contracts are for deliveries to the Moon with the goal of enabling rapid, frequent, and affordable access to the lunar surface.
