Description
USCGC MACKINAW DD FY27 (FY28) Azipod (ABB) Maintenance. Maintenance will be conducted at a Dry Docking repair facility while the CGC MACKINAW is docked. Maintenance to be performed but is not limited to: Propeller removal and installation; Thrust bearing pumps, motors, filters and heat exchanger replacement; Shaft seal testing; Hydraulic Steering pump replacement. As a result of market research, the Coast Guard anticipates awarding as a sole source contract to ABB Inc., the original equipment manufacturer.
