Description
USCGC HICKORY (WLB-225) Drydock Availability. This order is for a Juniper-class seagoing buoy tender, 225ft in length, homeported in Guam. This Drydock Availability will include, but is not limited to: renewal of dual point davit and fathometer transducers, hull plating inspections and ultrasonic testing, cleaning and preservation of chain lockers and tanks, overhaul and maintenance of propulsion shaft seals and bearings, inspection and repair of propulsion shaft fairwaters and rope guards, renewal of thruster bearings, and overhaul of sea strainers and thruster units.
