Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) requires a Human Performance Support and Training (HPS&T) system for its Polar Security Cutter (PSC), which will enable crewmembers to employ PSC and PSC systems to execute assigned missions. Required HPS&T services include but are not limited to completion of all analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance actions necessary to create a complete initial HPS&T system for the PSC program. PSC is essential to America’s Polar region capability. The PSC will conduct extended deployments from homeports and bases in the United States, thus training is an essential part of ensuring that mission critical functions are maintained. Approximately 136 crewmembers, in addition to 20 shore support personnel, will need to be trained to operate and maintain PCSs as expediently and efficiently as possible.
