Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) requires Neutrally Buoyant Ballistic Plates (NBBPs) to complete its statutory missions in the Deployable Specialized Forces (DSF) community. Polyethylene Level III, Multicam Cordura Wrapped, Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI), NBBPs that work with the USCG FROG AC Plater Carrier system. SAPI style multi curve torso plate. The thickness of the plates shall not exceed 1.07”. Essential physical characteristics: The salient characteristics of the product are Polyethylene, Level III protection, Multi-Cam Cordura Wrapped, and SAPI cut. Provides 2 lbs of positive buoyancy. All plates must be certified by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to meet or exceed the NIJ Standard 0101.06 criteria for Level III for hard armor or plate inserts. Sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and small 6x6 single curve side plates.
