Description
The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center, Patrol Boat Product Line in Baltimore, MD has a requirement to overhaul right-Hand and Left-Hand Rudders in support of the 87' WPB Coast Guard vessels. Awarded vendor shall open and inspect Rudders received in various quantities using government provided drawings and Work Item descriptions to provide an estimated cost to overhaul the rudder and associated wooden crate. Items shall be overhauled to a ready for issue (RFI) "A" condition as described in the provided documents. Once overhaul is completed to the satisfaction of the government, Coast Guard quality assurance personnel will inspect all aspects of overhaul and testing to verify conformance at the vendor's facility. Once approved, the vendor will ship the overhauled Rudders to a designated Coast Guard facility or vessel IAW Coast Guard instructions. Vendors shall be capable of providing worldwide shipping as it may be necessary to direct ship any Rudder assembly to a Coast Guard facility, vessel or contracted repair facility anywhere in the world.
