The Kootenai National Forest (KNF) needs to obtain high quality tree planting shrub/native planting animal damage control (ADC) installation maintenance and removal and associated services to ensure maximum stock survival and achieve prompt reforestation on site-specific lands administered within their boundaries. Planting and related services are needed on tree improvement areas (e.g. seed orchards clone banks genetic test sites etc.) or lands that have been disturbed through fire insect or diseases harvest or from other causes and where land and resource management plans indicate
