Description
VICK Gateway Redesign for Improved Visitor Experience is being supported through a donation agreement with the Friends group. The park will redesign the entryway to better function with the new state-owned Vicksburg Civil War Center that will be constructed adjacent to the park on I-20 frontage road. The new design will improve traffic safety, volume and connections to the new center. Once construction on the VCWC is complete the current NPS VC and parking will be demolished, and the gateway.
