COOP MMTS Four-Plate Set (Top, Insulated, Solid, and Holed)

The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain the Maximum Minimum Temperature System (MMTS) Plates for the Thermometer Shelter Assembly (ASN: C450-2). These would be four components of MMTS radiation shield (Top Plate C450-2-1, Insulated Plate Assembly C450-2-2, Solid Plate C450-2-3, and the Big Holes Plate C450-2-4). The Top Plate is the one that has the highest usage rate of these four. We need to order 125 verus 50 for the Solid Plate, 25 for the Insulated plate, and 25 for the Holed-Plate. Currently, we do not have the injection form-molds for these plates. The COOP Program Office may need to direct NLSC/NRC to provide sample plates to a vendor to fabricate the form molds. This will be beyond the $25,000 obligated for this requisition.
