Description
This requirement supports the management and continuation of pharmaceutical manufacturer invoicing activities on behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The contracted Third-Party Administrator (TPA) will be responsible for administering four key Medicare drug invoicing programs: the Coverage Gap Discount Program (CGDP), the Manufacturer Discount Program (MDP), the Inflationary Rebate Program, and the Discarded Drug Refund Program — collectively known as the Medicare Drug Manufacturer Invoicing Activities (MDMIA). These programs are critical to ensuring accurate and timely invoicing between CMS and pharmaceutical manufacturers. This contract ensures the continuous delivery of essential services spanning the full lifecycle of MDMIA systems and processes, including development, testing, implementation, operations, maintenance, and customer support for all program stakeholders and participants.
