Steam Manhole Cooling Ventilation Trailer

NIST intends to purchase a self-contained trailer mounted cooling unit for the NIST Facility Maintenance Shops. Steam manholes with steam or condensate leakage or other issues can have a temperature of over 180 - 190 degrees Fahrenheit.The purchase of this cooling unit will allow NIST Pipe and Electric Shop workers to work in both steam and electrical manholes without the need to deal with high temperatures.
