Recompete OMD's (formerly MDL) technical services contract

Technical services contract for Model and Application Development support, including NBM, NWSConnect, Aviation model development, Storm Surge Model development, Warn on Forecast System (WoFS) development and Data dissemination services. Product development areas include: statistical modeling, digital database development; model interpretation, verification and evaluation; cloud infrastructure development and support; storm surge prediction; Virtual Lab infrastructure development and support, and decision support application development (NWS Connect). The goal of this modeling effort is to develop an accurate enough model guidance suite to allow it to reduce or eliminate the need for forecaster intervention, allowing the shift of focus of our limited forecast staff to support core partner decisions that have a greater impact on the mission to protect life and property.
