NFA Online Course Revisions

This project will revise/update eight (8) existing online courses for the National Fire Academy, U.S. Fire Administration. The project will update all content and materials to reflect current standards and evidence-based practices, including all existing learning outcomes, course units, activities, and assessments. All courses shall demonstrate sound instructional design methodology that meets the standards required by the American Council on Education (ACE) to qualify for introductory (lower-division) level credit where possible. Content and multimedia assets will also be updated as needed to address functionality issues due to technological limitations/incompatibilities and comply with the guidelines set forth in the most current version of the NFA Online System Technical Specifications (v1.0 as of this date), AP formatting standards, and be Section 508 compliant. In addition, the Contractor shall develop Alternative Couse Delivery Materials to allow the NFA to continue delivering the online courses outside of the intended LMS in the event of system failure/unavailability, lack of internet access, etc.
