Cyber Security Program Support

NOS requires comprehensive support to ensure organizational compliance with Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA, and FISMA policies by providing technical and non-technical cybersecurity assistance and consultation. The system's primary objective is to manage the NOS cybersecurity posture through the continuous identification of sustainable business process requirements, oversight of security incidents through the NOAA Incident Response and Reporting Application (NIRRA), and management of all organizational data calls. Vendors are expected to provide qualified labor to maintain enterprise-level dashboards, validate user permissions for operational tools such as Tenable Security Center, and provide expert guidance based on NIST Special Publications to improve IT operations and reduce risk.
