Description
This contract will upgrade the combined mechanical- and radiation-shielding hutch at the NG6 neutron imaging station (NIS) (and other infrastructure around the end of the neutron guide) to accommodate an improvement to the neutron guide. These upgrades are required to permit the safe operation of a neutron velocity selector for the NIS while providing monochromatic beamlines for other neutron physics group projects.
