The Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) Data and Systems Group (DSG) has a need to provide comprehensive data analytics and technical assistance services that support critical program monitoring, policy implementation, and healthcare improvement initiatives across the Medicaid and CHIP continuum. This covers a spectrum of activities from data collection and quality assurance to advanced analytics and reporting, enabling evidence-based decision making for program administrators, policy makers, and healthcare stakeholders. Towards this end, CMCS has developed and operates the Medicaid and CHIP Business Information System (MACBIS) suite of data analytics solutions that serve as the foundation for program oversight and improvement.
