Description
Former NPS firing range where studies show a thin layer of lead fragments and lead-contaminated soil over basalt bedrock. Lead and antimony at the site represents a threat to park resources, include the endagered Hawaiian Nene. This project includes removal of the soil and lead fragments and disposal at a hazardous waste landfill.
