Description
This is a weather detection system that monitors lightning strikes, weather, and monitors the heat stress for an area. This purchase will replace the existing ThorGuard lightning system at all TDPs. PerryWeather features the ability to push emails, SMS messages, or Push messages to advise of dangerous weather in the area. It is capable of linking into the DHS PENs system to also send alerts via that moodle of communication. The presence of a lightning reporting device is mandated by DHS Directive 066-01 (Safety and Health Program).
