Description
The project replaces a closed storm-damaged boardwalk trail and pedestrian bridge in the Juniper Springs Recreation Area on the Ocala National Forest in Florida. The 3000-foot-long trail is a popular recreation feature connecting Juniper Springs and Fern Hammock Springs running along Juniper Creek. Trail construction is entirely raised boardwalk due to the soil conditions and environmentally sensitive area.
