Description
This project will provide conservation treatment for nine historic cannons and nine cannon mounts at Fort Jefferson’s terreplein, following recommendations from the 2023 Conservation Assessment and Treatment Proposal (PMIS 306233). Work includes treating coating failure, blistering, corrosion, and metal deterioration on identified Rodman and Parrott cannons and their mounts, excluding assets addressed under PMIS 334346, to preserve these historic features.
