Description
The CBIC shall be responsible for assisting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with each round of competition including, but not limited to, outreach and education, bidding, bid evaluation, contracting, oversight, maintenance, and enforcement tasks of the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program (CBP), which are consistent with the parameters set by CMS.
