Description
Work includes replacing damaged turf and improving compacted soil. Shrubs around the Jackson statue will be replaced and planting beds restored. Decorative post and chain will be placed around the walking paths to protect the restored turf in those areas. Historic drinking fountains will be conserved. Existing granite curbs will be rehabilitated, and lamp posts painted. Chess tables will be replaced, and historic exposed aggregate bird baths cleaned and reset.
