Description
The US Park Police (USPP) has a requirement to exercise Option Year 1 on contract number 140P2124F0223 to purchase approximately 556 individualized Level IIIA Body Armor Packages and Handcuff Pouches. The USPP has the requirement to purchase the body armor for new recruits and to replace older soft body armor for incumbent USPP officers that has reached its expiration date. This is a critical component of the USPP's efforts under EO 14333 to hire and equip an additional 450 USPP officers.
