Description
Restore the landscape of the Battleground National Cemetery while making the grounds handicap accessible (ABAAS and Outdoor Recreation Standard). Enhance accessibility to the central pedestrian walkway, and create a new graded entrance path. The new entrance will require cutting an opening in the historic perimeter wall, which may need repointing and other work. Plantings will be restored as described in the treatment recommendations of the Cultural Landscape Report of 2014.
