ICE OCIO utilizes the Red Hat Products associated with this procurement for providing a secure application hosting environment. Red Hat Software ensure ICE can host applications in a secure, supportable operating system that conforms to ICE operational standards. They provide the automation and isolation necessary to support leading edge custom and 3rd party solutions supporting critical mission activities. The ICE OCIO Systems Engineering Division (SED) has implemented technical hosting environments for ICE applications that integrate the required security, network and application controls within the ICE Cloud. Currently all Linux based application hosting environments within the ICE Cloud utilize the Red Hat products to provide the security, automation and isolation necessary to properly support hosted applications.
