Description
DHS intends to modernize its electronic contract filing through the Procurement Records Management (PRM2) initiative. PRM2 will replace ECFS with a solution that will enhance user experience, improve security compliance, and streamline contract management across its various components. The PRM2 initiative aims to: 1. Provide a secure, compliant solution for contract file storage, workflow automation, document management, and records management. 2. Enhance contract management efficiency and improve user experience with a modern, intuitive interface. 3. Ensure seamless integration with DHS Contract Writing Systems (CWS) data. 4. Ensure system scalability to support future growth in user numbers and data volumes. 5. Expand to include a similar solution for classified awards. 6. Expand to include COR files. DHS requires two COTS cloud-based SaaS solutions, one for classified and the other for unclassified contracts, to support virtual contract file storage across DHS. They shall provide workflow, document management, and records management capabilities.
