Description
This is a new contract for the CISS Injury Coding Center. This contract provides services to analyze and code injuries on crash investigations produced by the Primary Sampling Units for the CISS program. It also provides vital injury and injury severity data that is coded for the CISS, CIREN, and SCI programs and datasets, enhancing the agency's crash data analysis capabilities. It improves the effectiveness of the enforcement, research, and rulemaking efforts to deliver motor vehicle safety crashworthiness improvements.
