FACTS Mitre Support

This statement of objectives (SOO) is to engage MITRE Corporation (the Contractor) to provide technical expertise, assessment, and guidance for three efforts planned for the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) Federal Advanced Communications Test Site (FACTS) five-year program:1.Advance the maturity of shared spectrum approaches between Federal Government and Industry systems including novel approaches that implement machine-optimization or learning.2.Improve the capabilities at Table Mountain Field Site to test, characterize, and demonstrate how commercial wireless systems, including 5G cellular systems, can facilitate spectrum sharing between commercial wireless systems and incumbent Federal systems; and3.Investigate novel methodologies for spectrum sensing and situational awareness at the Table Mountain Field Site
