Description
The objectives of the Garnet Fire Salvage (FER) IRSC project are to perform emergency mitigation treatment of standing and downed fire killed fuels along and adjacent to roads recreation sites and stands within the Garnet Fire of 2025. These roadside fuels treatments are a vital step of ensuring safe working conditions for firefighters suppression repair activities and post-fire restoration activities. The project will also reduce the risk of future wildfire and insect or disease infestation and protect restore and enhance forest ecosystem components within the project area.
