undertake the excavation of the current deteriorated road template and uphill slumps. the contractor must prepare a structural foundation for the repositioned roadway. The construction of the new structural base is to be completed with backfilling performed as necessary to achieve the sub-base level. the contractor will replace the enhanced road base and surface course. the installation of a geo-composite drainage system is mandated along with the placement of riprap for slope retention.
