During the 2023 Warm Rain on Snow Event the excessive run off from the junction with County M99 Road damaged the Access Loop-Road 22S31 used to by the public and River Outfitters. Conditions remain unstable and huge trapezoidal erosion channel to the Kern River Below created by the storm is expanding. Current Dimensions of the erosion channel are approximately 100 50 Ft. across the top bottom X 200 to 250 Ft. length X 25 to 75 Ft. depth.
