Description
Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) field work for BLM segments in Southern California. BLM is mandated to doing NRI data collection on federal land and the Chief-signed reimbursable agreement for NRCS to perform that collection on their behalf. The NRI Program serves as the federal governments principle source of information on natural resources in the United States mandated through Rural Development Act of 1972 the Soil and Water Resources Conservation Act of 1977 and other supporting legislation to assess the status condition and trends of soil water resources on non-federal land.
