Description
This project is within the Big Meadow High Risk Fireshed and has been developed to restore forest resilience in the Wildland Urban Interface. It includes 2229 acres of hazardous fuels reduction and 11.9 MMBF of timber harvest including maintenance and reconstruction of National Forest system roads. The value of sawtimber included will be used to offset the removal of biomass and additional treatment of hazardous fuels in the project.
