Burgess Dump Station Infrastructure Improvements

This project includes draining the Burgess sewage lagoon and replacing aged bentonite and vinyl liners. This lagoon is part of a well-established and highly utilized sewage dump station used by the public and commercial vendors. This dump station is near the North Tongue river and monthly effluent testing is done to monitor any leakage from the lagoon. This facility was built in 1970 and making upgrades will address both public health and safety and environmental protection.
