Description
Thinning and piling of ponderosa pine, juniper and pinyon pine trees to promote ponderosa pine habitat and reduce ladder fuels to limit the effects of and prevent catastrophic wildfires. Thinning would be focused on removing encroaching pinyon and juniper trees and smaller ponderosa pine trees while protecting old growth trees.
